This means cultivating an environment where grace is infused into lifestyle choices, emphasizing mindful living. In 04.23, A Graceful Space released their first, exclusive merch drop that marked the theme of their first year in business: write your own story. This phrase, which appears on the back of each crewneck, represents the notion of taking control and ownership of your own narrative. Authorship can often be a controversial topic these days; however, claiming one’s humanity and their life story is an aspect that has been very important in Grace’s journey and is what she wanted to share with her community.
Grace is a Christian and many of the guest features on this blog identify with Christian values. These values are not just ones that inspire the works of the articles but are very much ingrained in the voices of the people that embody them and live out their words. When reading her Bible one day, Grace had the inspiration of “write your own story” due to a line from scripture: “Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe.” (Psalm 107:2).

Grace is an author and advocate for conversations fostered by grace, self-expression, and thoughtful reflection. She started the blog 12.01.22 for a passion of connection and a vision to create a virtual santactuary on the digital platform, A Graceful Space. As the internet in our modern day world has increasingly become more polarized to ungraceful voices, Grace sought to start her own website: a place of solstice filled with graceful voices instead. While Grace began writing her own meaningful content, the blog is now filled with articles of guest features ranging from professionals, authors, activists, peers, and friends.

Grace, a native of rural Oklahoma, spent her formative years in a quaint town with a population size of 2,149. Amidst the rustic charm of her upbringing, agriculture and farm life painted the backdrop of her childhood memories. She credits both her roots and transition to Dallas, TX beginning her discovery of what graceful spaces could look like. However, they are unique to each and every individual.
